The Walking Dead: 400 Days Release Dates Announced!

The first update to Telltale's The Walking Dead video game officially has a release date, and you won't have to wait much longer!  The Walking Dead: 400 Days a new episode designed to serve as a bridge between last year's Season One and this Fall's upcoming Season Two, will be available as early as this week!

Telltale's The Walking Dead Season One was one of my two favorite games of 2012 and a winner of multiple Game of the Year Awards.  Following the story of a convict and the little girl he cares for during the early months of the zombie apocalypse, running parallel in time to the early days of The Walking Dead comics, The Walking Dead Season One is a rare example of a licensed video game living up to if not surpassing the quality of the original.  The game tells a completely original and self-contained tale, so whether your are an existing fan of The Walking Dead or not you will be able to appreciate the ride.  With it's clever puzzles, immersive art-style, challenging ethical choices, accessible game-play and an expertly told mature story The Walking Dead has something to offer anyone looking for an adult narrative-driven video game experience.  I mean if a video game about a little girl named Clementine can make a grown man like me cry you know it's doing something right!

If you are already a fan and looking forward to The Walking Dead: 400 Days, you can watch the trailer introducing the five new characters below as well as see the complete release dates.  If you still haven't had a chance to check out Season One you can get some info about picking up right here.

So who else can't contain their excitement for this expansion?  I actually enjoyed Season One of the game more than the TV show or comic, am I alone in that?  Let me know what you guys think in the comments below!
